I designed Cast, an original display typeface, around a strict modular component system to test the boundaries of visual consistency and typographic scalability. The internal logic of the letterforms operates as a customized design system, demonstrating a clear command over typographic structure and visual programming to ensure absolute cohesion across the entire character set. This unique personality is ideally suited for distinctive brand voice applications in marketing headlines, packaging, and digital environmental graphics. Final deliverables include a comprehensive, expressive specimen sheet detailing the font architecture and a strategic packaging application mockup to demonstrate the typeface’s efficacy in a high-end product environment. This project showcases advanced design architecture, systems thinking, and the ability to develop foundational brand assets from first principles.
